Milwaukee Brewers Sign Pitcher To Extension

The Brewers have signed Aaron Ashby to a five-year, $20.5 million contract extension.

Ashby is currently in his second major league season. In 18 appearances, he has a 2-7 record to go along with a 4.57 ERA. Overall, he hasn't had the best of campaigns, but he's still done enough to earn this extension from Milwaukee.

Ashby is viewed as having a lot of potential, so it makes sense that the Brewers have given him this multi-year pact. It will be intriguing to see how he performs from here.
