Giants Sign Pitcher

The Giants have signed Kyle Tyler to a minor league contract.

Tyler recently was designated for assignment by the Padres and then elected to become a free agent. Now, he has found a new home with the Giants and will be hoping to receive a call-up before the season is over.

Tyler has been on the move quite often this season, as he has had two stints with the Angels and Padres, while also being with the Red Sox. He has had trouble finding a permanent home, so he will be hoping to do this time around with the Giants.

In seven career games between the Angels and Padres, he has a 1-0 record to go along with a 2.20 ERA.
