Doctors Not In Agreement Over Fernando Tatis Jr. Return
Fernando Tatis Jr. had another visit with doctors this week to determine the status of his wrist, and a timeline for his return to the lineup. But the team has been slow to reveal any results of the consultation, or what the next steps are.
Fernando Tatis Jr. is important to Padres, and there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen affecting decision of when & how he begins his swing progression.

Doctors that have been confering are not in total agreement re: next steps.
This isn't necessarily bad. It is extreme caution.
According to San Diego Padres beat writer Kevin Acee, "doctors that have been confering are not in total agreement re: next steps." He says there are many "cooks in the kitchen affecting the decision."
It had been hoped that Tatis would finally get the full go-ahead to start swinging a bat again, the final stage in his long-awaited return from wrist surgery in the offseason.
We're still waiting to see if that's the case.
The 23-year-old Tatis Jr. has finished Top 4 in MVP voting twice in his three years in the big leagues, and has a career .292 average with a remarkable .965 OPS. But when the All-Star shortstop returns, it could be at a new position.
