Detroit Tigers Call Up Pitcher

The Tigers have called up Derek Law to their major league roster.

Law signed a minor league deal with the Tigers in April and has spent the entire 2022 campaign down in Triple-A. In 33 games with Triple-A Toledo, he sports a 1-3 record to go along with a 3.23 ERA. Overall, he has been solid when called upon, so it's nice to see him land this promotion as a result of it. 

Law is no stranger to the majors, however. In 176 career games over five MLB seasons, he has a 10-5 record and a 4.22 ERA. It will be intriguing to see how much these totals change during this call-up from here.
