Cleveland Outfielder Hitting Again; Return Expected Later This Month
Cleveland outfielder Oscar Gonzalez has resumed hitting off a tee.
He's being sent to Cleveland's spring training facility in Arizona over the All-Star break before beginning a minor league rehab assignment later this week.
The rookie has been out since early July due to a right abdominal strain and is expected to return at some point later this month.

Gonzalez joins fellow Cleveland rookies enjoying solid seasons this year, with Nolan Jones (.333 batting average) and Steven Kwan (.279 batting average).
Cleveland is currently 46-44 on the season, two games back of the Twins for first in the AL Central, and two-and-a-half games back of the Blue Jays for the second AL Wild Card spot.
