Athletics Recall Pitcher to Start Thursday
The Oakland Athletics have recalled pitcher Zach Logue from Triple-A Las Vegas to start the first game of the A's doubleheader against the Tigers on Thursday.
A's announce Frankie Montas will start game two of their doubleheader Thursday after the All-Star break. Zach Logue will start game one against the Tigers at the Coliseum.

It has yet to be determined if Logue will just be the twenty-seventh man for the doubleheader, or if he will actually stay in the rotation after today.
The twenty-six-year-old left-handed pitcher has posted a 5.16 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts in 29 innings in his rookie season so far.
Logue was acquired from the Blue Jays this past March when the A's traded Matt Chapman to the Canadian team. Gunnar Hoglund, Kevin Smith, and Kirby Snead were also acquired in the trade.
