Angels Superstar Placed On Injured List

The 2022 season is continuing to get worse for the Angels, as Mike Trout has now been placed on the 10-day injured list with ribcage inflammation.

The Angels have won just two out of their last 10 games, and this isn't their first massive rut this season. With this, they now sport a 39-53 record and are set to be without their franchise player in Trout. Expect things to get worse before they get better with the Halos.

Trout was recently named an All-Star for the 10th time in his career, and it's easy to understand why. Although the Angels have sucked, Trout has been quite effective again. In 79 games, he has 24 home runs, 51 RBIs, and a .270 batting average. Here's to hoping he can return to the field as soon as this 10-day stint on the IL is over so he can build on these solid totals.
