Angels Outfielder Clears Waivers

Monte Harrison is staying with the Angels organization, as he has cleared waivers. With that, he has been outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake. 

Harrison was recently designated for assignment by the Angels. The 26-year-old outfielder played in nine games for the team this season, where he had one home run, three RBIs, and a .182 batting average.

Harrison will now be trying to earn himself a call-up later in the season. If he does well in Triple-A, perhaps he could maintain a spot in the majors. Alas, time will tell on that front.
