An Update On Trevor Story
Trevor Story has not played for the Red Sox since July 12th after getting hit by a pitch by Corey Kluber. Now, an update has been provided on the infielder, as manager Alex Cora told reporters that Story has a hairline fracture on his right wrist.
This news is certainly not what the struggling Red Sox wanted to hear. Due to this diagnosis, Story has been shut down from swinging for the next 10 to 14 days. With Boston trying to get back into the playoff hunt, losing Story for a longer period of time doesn't help.
Story has struggled on his new team in 2022, however. In 81 games, the two-time All-Star has 15 home runs, 58 RBIs, and a low .221 batting average.
