Yankees Release Outfielder
The New York Yankees have released Ender Inciarte from his minor league contract.
Inciarte inked a minor league deal with the Yankees during the offseason in hopes of landing an eventual call-up to the major league squad. Yet, that just did not come to fruition, and now the veteran outfielder will be testing his luck elsewhere.
Inciarte's strong MLB resume could allow him to find a new home fairly quickly. In 857 career games between the Diamondbacks and Braves, he has 42 home runs, 263 RBIs, and a .280 batting average. With that, he is a three-time Gold Glove winner and one-time All-Star.
