Yankees Pitcher Heading Back To Triple-A
JP Sears has been sent back down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre by the New York Yankees.
Sears has been very solid when called upon by the Yankees this season, so one could argue that this is a little bit of a surprising move. In four appearances, he sports a 3-0 record to go along with a perfect 0.00 ERA. That's not bad at all when noting that he has pitched in 12.2 innings.
Sears will likely receive another call-up before the season is over if he can continue to pitch this well in Triple-A. Time will tell what happens on that front.
