Yankees Pitcher Designated For Assignment

Manny Banuelos is off the Yankees' 40-man roster, as the club has designated him for assignment. 

Banuelos has appeared in four major league games for the Yankees this campaign. During them, he has looked solid, as he sports a 2.16 ERA. However, even with this being the case, the Yankees have decided to designate him for assignment.

The Yankees will have until the end of the week to either trade Banuelos or place him on waivers. Time will tell if another team is willing to take a chance on him.
