Yankees Designate Pitcher For Assignment
The New York Yankees have designated Ryan Weber for assignment.
Weber appeared in one game for the Yankees this season, where he allowed one earned run in 3.2 innings pitched. Overall, he did fine in his lone appearance, but it still wasn't enough for him to maintain his spot on the Yankees' 40-man roster.
Weber has appeared in 64 career games over eight MLB seasons between the Braves, Mariners, Rays, Red Sox, Brewers, and Yankees. In them, he has a 4-12 record and 5.22 ERA. Let's see if another club takes a chance on him from here.
