White Sox Superstar Returning
White Sox all-star shortstop, Tim Anderson, began a minor league rehab assignment last night. Out since May 30th, Anderson will need a few rehab games to get back up to speed. However, he will likely rejoin the White Sox later this week.
The shortstop was injured on May 29th in a game against the Chicago Cubs. Anderson suffered a groin strain while fielding a ball in the fifth inning.

The shortstop is hitting .356/.393/.503 and has five homeruns and eight stolen bases through forty games.
During the month of May, Anderson was at the top of his game, hitting .385 with four doubles, two homeruns, and twelve RBIs. While the injury came at an unfortunate moment, Chicago fans hope Anderson can pick up where he left off.
The White Sox have been struggling since the loss of their shortstop and his return is expected to be a much-needed boost for the club.
