VIDEO: PUNCHES THROWN In Wild Mariners/Angels Bench Clearing Brawl
Things got ugly in Anaheim on Sunday, as the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels got into a bench-clearing brawl, with actual punches being thrown. Both managers and six players were ejected. It began in the first inning when Angels pitchers Andrew Wantz threw behind Julio Rodriguez’s head.
Then after Jesse Winker was beaned after warnings had been issued, pandemonium ensued.

This wild scene was actually brewing from the previous night, when Mike Trout was buzzed high and hard near his head by Mariners pitcher Eric Swanson in the 9th inning. Trout took exception, and both teams took numbers.
It didn't take long on Sunday for payback to be offered, with the head-hunting pitcher on the Mariners' star rookie in the 1st inning, then the Beaning of Winker in the 2nd. Even the injured Anthony Rendon got into it with his one good hand.

Quite the brawl between the Angels and Mariners. Anthony Rendon shoving Jesse Winker in the face with his left hand (and with a cast on his right arm!) was a moment. J.P. Crawford over the top with some forearm strikes. There will be suspensions.

Now over to MLB to see what suspensions will be handed out.
