VIDEO: Insane Catch of the Year And Near Devastating Injury
You won't a more fearless play than this in baseball — ever. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jonathan Davis goes absolutely all-out, head-first into the wall, to make the spectacular catch this afternoon in Tampa.
Not to be dramatic but this play by Jonathan Davis on the Brewers may be the best/most ballsy catch i’ve ever seen.

Head first into the wall while still holding on. Wow. pic.twitter.com/VxaZaiI6pJ
Fears of a devastating head or neck injury came to mind immediately as he writhed in pain. But believe it or not, he stayed in the game, and with a smile on his face.
Despite the botched call by the broadcast, Davis did hang on to the ball. The following video includes a replay of the insane dive he took into the wall.

Davis has made incredible catches like these throughout his career, despite limited playing time. Thrilled to hear that Davis—one of the nice guys in all of baseball—is alright.
