Twins Sign Pitcher
The Minnesota Twins have signed Hunter Wood to a minor league contract.
Wood appeared in five games last season with the Texas Rangers, where he sported a 0-0 record and 3.60 ERA. Now, he will be aiming to impress in Triple-A to land himself a potential call-up to the Twins at some point during the year.
Wood has a decent amount of MLB experience, so that also helps his chances of getting called up. In 71 career games between the Rays, Cleveland, and Rangers, he has a 2-2 record to go along with a 3.34 ERA. Let's see if he gets the chance to build on these numbers from here.
