Twins Outfielder To Miss 6 Weeks
Another bad injury break for the Minnesota Twins, who've announced they'll be without left fielder Trevor Larnach for six weeks.
Trevor Larnach is set to undergo bilateral repair surgery tomorrow to address his core muscle injury, the #MNTwins say. The expectation is around 6 weeks for a return to play, they say.

Larnach will undergo core muscle surgery on Tuesday, after suffering the injury on Friday. He missed time earlier in the season with a groin injury.
The 25-year-old was batting .231 with a .712 OPS, while homering 5 times for the Twins this season.
Larnach was a first-round pick (20th overall) by the Twins in the 2018 MLB Draft, and got off to a rollicking start in his minor league career in 2018-2019, hitting over .300 with an OPS in the mid-.800s. But the minor league year off in 2020 seemed to slow his progress.
Nick Gordon has taken over in left field in Larnach's absence thus far.
