Twins Call Up Pitcher

The Minnesota Twins have selected Tyler Thornburg's contract. With this, he is set to join the major league squad. 

Thornburg appeared in nine games for the Atlanta Braves this season, where he sported a 0-0 record and 3.86 ERA. From here, he was let go by the Braves, but he has now officially found a major league home with the Twins.

Thornburg will provide the Twins with a veteran reliever in their bullpen. In 201 career games between the Brewers, Red Sox, Reds, and Braves, he has a 16-9 record and 3.49 ERA. Let's see how these stats change from here.
