Twins Call Up Pitcher

The Minnesota Twins have called up Chi Chi Gonzalez to their major league roster. 

With Sonny Gray injured, the Twins needed to bring up a starter. Thus, Gonzalez will now be getting the chance to pitch at the major league level again. With that, he is getting into action immediately, as he is expected to start Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. 

Gonzalez has spent parts of five seasons in the majors. In 61 career games between the Rangers and Rockies, he has a 9-23 record and 5.64 ERA. Let's see if he can show signs of improvement with the Twins from here.
