Tigers Pitcher Becomes Free Agent
After clearing waivers, Detroit Tigers pitcher Drew Hutchison has elected to become a free agent instead of joining Triple-A Toledo.
Since Hutchison has over three years of MLB experience, he had the option to hit the free agency market. Now, the 31-year-old will be hoping to land an opportunity elsewhere.
In 12 appearances for the Tigers this season, Hutchison sported a 0-4 record and 4.81 ERA. Over the course of his 119-game MLB career, he has a 35-28 record and 4.96 ERA.
