Tigers Outfielder To Begin Rehab Assignment
Austin Meadows is another step closer to returning for the Tigers, as manager AJ Hinch confirmed to reporters that the outfielder will be beginning a minor league rehab assignment this week.
Meadows has been limited to just 36 games this season, so the Tigers will love to have him back in the lineup. It's been a fairly quiet start to his tenure as a Tiger, however, as he has zero home runs and a .250 batting average.
It will be intriguing to see how much time Meadows needs in the minor leagues before officially returning for the Tigers. Here's to hoping he matches his previous All-Star form once he does.
