Royals Pitcher Heading To Triple-A

The Kansas City Royals have sent Foster Griffin back down to Triple-A.

Griffin has struggled when called upon by the Royals, so perhaps this is a move that could have been predicted. In five appearances on the year with the big league club, he sports a disastrous 12.46 ERA. Perhaps some time back in Triple-A will help him regroup from here.

It will be intriguing to see if Griffin will be able to bounce back and land another call-up later on in the year. Here's to hoping he does just that.
