Reds Pitcher Has Tommy John Surgery
Justin Wilson's 2022 season is over, as the veteran reliever has had Tommy John surgery.
Wilson appeared in five games for the Reds this campaign, where he sported a 0-1 record to go along with a 2.45 ERA. Overall, he was off to a pretty solid start, so it's hard to see that his season is now over so quickly.
Wilson is in the final year of his contract, so it will be intriguing to see if he's able to find another home from here. In 527 career games between the Pirates, Tigers, Cubs, Mets, Yankees, and Reds, he has a 33-24 record and 3.41 ERA.
