Reds Infielder Heading To Triple-A

The Cincinnati Reds have activated Jose Barrero from the 10-day injured list. The shortstop will be returning to Triple-A Louisville from here.

Barrero has yet to play a game for the Reds this season and has been rehabbing with Louisville. Thus, it isn't too surprising to see that he will be remaining with the minor league squad after this most recent trip to the injured list. 

In 45 career games with the Reds, he has zero home runs, five RBIs, and a .197 batting average. We will have to wait and see when the youngster gets the chance to improve on these numbers from here.
