Red Sox Release 2 Players
The Boston Red Sox have released Thomas Pannone and Roberto Ramos from their minor league contracts.
Pannone appeared in 14 games for Triple-A Worcester this season, where he had a 5-3 record and 4.57. With numbers like these, it's fair to say that he had mixed results. Now, he will be hoping to find a new home and land the opportunity to play in the majors for the first time since 2019.
Ramos, on the other hand, played 39 games for Worcester this campaign. He struggled noticeably at the plate, as he had a very low .158 batting average. With numbers like these, it makes sense that the Red Sox are letting him go.
