Red Sox Recall Top Prospect
He's been riding the shuttle between Beantown and Worcester this season, and he's back once again. Boston Red Sox No. 2 prospect Jarren Duran is back in the majors, and he's batting leadoff for the BoSox game against the Oakland A's Friday night.
Duran is returning to The Show on a bit of a hot run at Triple-A.

Duran has hit home runs in his last two games at AAA, and overall is hitting .305 with a .910 OPS in 43 games at Worcester this season, along with 6 HR and 11 SB.
This will be his 3rd recall this season, though he's only gotten in a total of three games at the big league level in 2022. He's likely to start against right-handers.
The roster spot opened up when infielder Christian Arroyo was placed on the Covid injured list.
