Rays Outfielder Leaves Game Early

During Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier left early due to Achilles inflammation.

At this juncture, an update on Kiermaier's condition has not been provided. Given the area of this inflammation, it seems possible that a stint on the injured list could be on the way. If that happens, it will be bad news for both the veteran outfielder and the Rays.
