Rays Designate Pitcher For Assignment

The Tampa Bay Rays have designated Ben Bowden for assignment. 

Bowden has been on the major league squad but didn't make a single appearance for the Rays in 2022. Now, his time in Tampa could very well be over, as the Rays will either have to trade him or place him on waivers by next week.

Teams could elect to give Bowden a chance from here, as he's a reliever with a bit of MLB experience. In 39 games last season with the Colorado Rockies, he had a 3-2 record to go along with a 6.56 ERA.
