Phillies Call Up Infielder
The Philadelphia Phillies have called up Yairo Munoz to their major league roster.
Munoz has earned this call-up when looking at how well he has performed with Triple-A Lehigh Valley this campaign. In 45 games, he has five home runs, 22 RBIs, and a .319 batting average. Those numbers are very solid, and he will be aiming to translate them over to the majors from here.
Munoz has a solid amount of MLB experience on his resume, too. In 214 career games between the Cardinals, Red Sox, and Phillies, he has 11 home runs, 59 RBIs, and a .273 batting average. Let's see if the utilityman can cement himself a spot on the Phillies' major league roster for the rest of the year.
