Padres Send Pitcher Down To Triple-A
The San Diego Padres have sent Kyle Tyler down to Triple-A El Paso.
Tyler was recently designated for assignment by San Diego. Following that, he was placed on waivers, but no team bit on the reliever. Now, the 25-year-old will be aiming to impress with El Paso in hopes of landing another potential call-up to the Padres later down the road.
Tyler last appeared in the majors during the 2021 season with the Los Angeles Angels. In five games for the Halos, he sported a 0-0 record and 2.92 ERA. It will be intriguing to see if he get the chance to build on these numbers at some point this campaign.
