Padres Outfielder Placed On Injured List

The San Diego Padres will be without Wil Myers for the next little bit at least, as the veteran outfielder has been placed on the 10-day injured list.

Myers has been off to a slow start in 2022, so getting injured is not going to help his chances of rebounding from here. In 32 games this season, he has one home run, 19 RBIs, and a .234 batting average. 

Although Myers has had a bit of a rough year, the Padres will still miss him in their lineup. They are currently trying to catch the Los Angeles Dodgers to be first in the NL West. Now they will tackle that objective without Myers.
