Padres Call Up Pitcher

A few days ago, the San Diego Padres designated Kyle Tyler for assignment. He would later clear waivers and be returned to Triple-A. Yet, he is now getting another chance with the major league squad, as he has been called up to the Padres.

If the Padres utilize Tyler during this call-up, it will be both his season debut and first game as a Padre. He began his major league career last season with the Los Angeles Angels, where he had a 2.92 ERA in five appearances. If he can continue to pitch like that, it could allow him to keep a spot on the major league roster from here.

Nevertheless, this is a great chance for Tyler to show that he deserves to be in the majors. We will have to wait and see how he performs from here.
