Orioles Pitcher Heading To Triple-A
Baltimore Orioles pitcher Zac Lowther was recently designated for assignment. However, after clearing waivers, the team has now assigned him to Triple-A Norfolk.
Lowther has appeared in just one game for the Orioles this season. It wasn't a particularly strong outing for him, either, as he allowed five earned runs in 5.1 innings pitched. With this demotion to Norfolk, it will be intriguing to see if he can bounce back and potentially get called up again.
In 11 career games over the last two seasons with Baltimore, Lowther has a 1-3 record and 6.94 ERA.
