Orioles Claim Pitcher Off Waivers

The Baltimore Orioles have claimed Auston Voth off waivers from the Washington Nationals. 

Voth was recently designated for assignment by the Nationals, but he will now be given the chance of a fresh new start with the Orioles. In 19 appearances this season with Washington, he struggled rather noticeably, he had a very high 10.13 ERA. With the Orioles, he will be aiming to bounce back.

With the Orioles near the bottom of the MLB standings, there's no harm in them taking a chance on Voth. He comes with a decent amount of major league experience, and that is certainly an added bonus. In 92 career games, he has a 9-8 record and 5.70 ERA.
