Nationals Pitcher Set To Return

While speaking with reporters, Washington Nationals manager Dave Martinez said that Stephen Strasburg will be making his season debut during Thursday's contest against the Marlins.

Strasburg has not pitched since last June and has since been recovering from surgery. Yet, the veteran will now be finally returning to the mound for the Nationals.

Since 2020, Strasburg has only made nine starts, so he will be hoping to stay healthy from here. When healthy, he has put together some excellent seasons. Keep in mind, he is a three-time All-Star. In 246 career games, he has a 113-61 record and 3.21 ERA.
