MLB Suspends Two Astros After Beanballs
A bench-clearing incident between the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners has led to the suspensions of Astros manager Dusty Baker, and relief pitcher Hector Neris. The pitcher gets 4 games, Baker gets one.
It occurred in the 9th inning of Monday night's game, when Neris hit the Mariners' Ty France with a pitch, and a dispute began.
Mariners manager Scott Servais took umbrage with something that was said as an argument ensued, and the benches cleared.
Warnings were issued to both sides, and a couple of batters later when Neris fired a high, hard one at Eugenio Suarez's head, Baker and Neris were ejected.

The Mariners got the last laugh, as Julio Rodriguez blasted a two-run shot with France on base after the bench-clearing incident, giving the M's a 7-4 win.
