MLB Rumors: Royals To Trade Outfielder
The Kansas City Royals currently have a 21-41 record and are destined to be sellers at the deadline. One player who we will likely see moved because of this is Michael Taylor.
Taylor is currently in the first year of his two-year, $9 million contract extension. However, he is also having a very solid season, so the Royals are in a position where they should take advantage of his trade value being higher. In 44 games on the year thus far, he has four home runs, 17 RBIs, and a .272 batting average.
Teams in need of some help in the outfield should be calling the Royals about Taylor. He could be a solid upgrade to the center field position, so let's see if the 760-game veteran gets moved this summer.
