MLB Rumors: Major Changes On The Way For Angels

Not too long ago, the Los Angeles Angels seemed like locks to make the playoffs. Yet, things have changed drastically on that front, as they have lost their last 14 games. Due to their struggles, they fired manager Joe Maddon, but things still aren't turning around.

With superstars Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani in their primes, it would be catastrophic if the Angels miss the playoffs AGAIN this year. Yet, due to this 14-game losing streak, they now have fallen to a 27-31 record and are continuing to plummet in the standings. With all of this, now seems like the right time for GM Perry Minasian to explore the trade market. If he doesn't act quickly, this could be another very disappointing year for the Halos.

Don't be surprised to see major changes done to their roster before the trade deadline passes. They aren't out of the Wild Card race yet, but with the ways things are going, this could change quickly. Thus, now seems like the right time for a retool on the fly. This current roster just isn't going to cut it.
