MLB Rumors: Diamondbacks First Baseman Garnering Trade Interest

The Arizona Diamondbacks are heading into the trade deadline with several questions. One player who is expected to get a lot of interest from around the league is Christian Walker.

Walker will not be eligible for unrestricted free agency until 2025, but there are rumblings that the Diamondbacks could be open to trading him while his value is at its highest.

If officially made available, Walker will be a primary trade target for teams in need of a first baseman or DH. In 72 games this season, he has 19 home runs, 38 RBIs, and a .206 batting average.
