MLB Rumors: Blue Jays Interested In Royals Outfielder

According to Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays are expressing interest in Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi.

The Blue Jays currently sport a very good 42-33 record but are third in the very competitive AL East division. As a result of this, they will likely be major buyers at the deadline to keep up with their division rivals. Thus, it isn't surprising to hear that Benintendi is on their radar.

The 2022 season has been excellent for Benintendi, as he has three home runs, 27 RBIs, and a strong .303 batting average. It will be intriguing to see if he ends up being a Blue Jay before the deadline passes.
