The Oakland Athletics have been major sellers since the offseason, and that is something that should continue as we get closer to the deadline. Due to this, one player who could be on the move is Paul Blackburn.

Although Blackburn is not an unrestricted free agent until 2026, the Athletics are in a position where they could take advantage of his higher trade value. With the team trading away several key members already, it wouldn't be surprising to see Blackburn be next.

Blackburn is having the best season of his career thus far, so plenty of playoff teams would jump into the sweepstakes. In 12 starts, he has a 5-2 record and 2.31 ERA.
