Megill missed time earlier this season due to bicep-tendinitis. Last night's appearance was only his second start since returning from the prior injury.
Before his injuries, Megill was having a fantastic season. The pitcher was 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA.
Overall, Megill is 4-2 on the season with an ERA of 5.01, a 1.21 WHIP, along with 47 strikeouts over 41 innings.
It has not been announced if or for how long Megill will be out. The pitcher himself is not certain.

He says that he feels the injury “died down” a bit. Megill will get an MRI tomorrow. #LGM pic.twitter.com/Mxi4zCgfFQ
If Megill goes down again, it will be yet another blow to the Mets organization, already hurting from the loss of Scherzer and deGrom.
