Marlins To Be Without 2 Infielders
The Miami Marlins will be without Joey Wendle and Brian Anderson, as they each have been placed on the 10-day injured list.
Wendle has run into some injury trouble this season, and it now continues with this recent development. Yet, when healthy, he has been very solid for the Marlins. In 29 games, he has two home runs, 11 RBIs, and a .284 batting average. With these numbers, Miami will be hoping he can return as soon as possible.
Anderson is in his sixth season with the Marlins, and it's been a pretty solid one for the third baseman. Although his power numbers are a bit down, as evidenced by his two home runs, he has been hitting well for contact with his .267 batting average.
Alas, here's to hoping these two are good to go as soon as stint on the IL is over.
