Marlins Send Pitcher Down To Triple-A

The Miami Marlins have sent Elieser Hernandez down to Triple-A.

When looking at how Hernandez's 2022 season has gone, perhaps this is a move that we could have predicted. In 11 games on the year, he has a 2-5 record to go along with a 6.75 ERA. Thus, it's fair to say he struggled, but perhaps this demotion to Triple-A could help him regain his confidence.

Hernandez has spent each of the last five seasons with the Marlins, where he has had mixed results In 81 career games with the team, he has a 9-20 record and 5.04 ERA. Let's see if he ends up getting the chance to improve these numbers again before the season is over.
