Marlins Infielder Placed On Injured List

Jazz Chisholm will be forced to miss some time, as the infielder has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a lower back strain.

Chisholm has been having a strong season with the Marlins this season. His power numbers are going up, as he already has 14 home runs and 45 RBIs in 60 games. With that, he currently sports a .254 batting average, which is the best of his three-year career.

The Marlins will be hoping that Chisholm's injury does not keep him out longer than this stint on the IL. Time will tell what happens on that front.
