Mariners Pitcher Heading Back To Triple-A
The Seattle Mariners have sent Drew Steckenrider back down to Triple-A.
Steckenrider was designated for assignment last week and then cleared waivers. Due to this, the Mariners were able to return him to Triple-A. Now, he will be aiming to impress in the minor leagues in hopes of landing another potential call-up to the major league squad later in the year.
Steckenrider has made 16 appearances with the Mariners this season. In them, he sports a 0-2 record and 5.65 ERA. Let's see if he gets the opportunity to improve these numbers at some point during this campaign.
