Guardians Send Pitcher Down To Triple-A
The Cleveland Guardians have optioned Anthony Castro to Triple-A.
Castro is in his first season with the Guardians and has struggled with the major league club. In eight games, he sports a 9.00 ERA. With an ERA that high, it isn't too surprising to hear that the Guardians have decided to send him back down to Triple-A.
Castro will now be aiming to impress, as it will help his chances of getting another call-up later down the road. Thankfully for him, he is still on their 40-man roster, so that heightens the possibility of him getting another chance. Until then, let's see how he performs in Triple-A.
