Giants Call Up Infielder

Donovan Walton is back with the San Francisco Giants, as the club has called him up to their major league roster.

Walton has played in 16 games for the Giants this campaign. Thus far, he has one home run, eight RBIs, and a .161 batting average. It hasn't been the greatest of starts for the utility player, but he will now have the chance to improve on those numbers from here.

Walton will be hoping to impress, as it could be enough for him to stay on their roster for the remainder of the season. It also doesn't hurt that he can play second base, shortstop, and the outfield.
