Dodgers Outfielder Transferred To 60-Day Injured List
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Kevin Pillar has been transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters earlier this week that Pillar's injury was likely going to keep him out long term, so this development isn't too surprising. However, it still is rough to see, as the veteran was just called up by LA recently.
Pillar struggled in his four games this season for the Dodgers, as he had one hit in 12 at-bats. However, this placement on the 60-day IL will now restrict him from being able to rebound for a long time. Alas, here's to hoping that the 10-year veteran can get back into action before the season is out.
